Promoting Scientific Literacy: An Opportunity for the Neuroscience Community

Scientists represent a logical approach to curiosity, to imagination, to the unknown. Children are born with these traits. It is our job—our duty—to keep alive the quest for the next question. As working adult scientists, you bring to the classroom an adult personification of the quest. You hold the light of those early childhood traits. Your profession is a never-ending adventure into the unknown (Scott Anderson, Title II Teacher Trainer, Orleans Pansh Schools).
